SAT 6/2/12
I walked out on the track today to crush this workout! This is the first time attempting a good high speed workout since my calves cramped up over a month ago. I tried to leave it all on the track during the last rep to see if my legs were ready to fight!
Saturday sunny high noon + 90F degrees + empty locked up track = A WEEKEND WORK ZONE!!!
- 3 x 150m, 16-16.5secs pace, 10-12mins break
- 16.30, 16.35, 15.45

WED 5/30/12
Today let me know I’m human! I’ve been doing this same workout for about two or three weeks. My mind was telling me that I’ll reach every time with no problem, but my body decided on another outcome. Yesterday’s jump squats said HELLO!!! Hello, I’m still here!!!
- 3 x 200m, 100m; 100m rep walk; 6min set break; pace 26, 12, 25, 12, 24, 12
- 28.0, 13.0(headwind), 25.1, 12.0, 25.3, 12.5
TUE 5/29/12
The tune up for Masters Track has started with a good opener near Dallas, TX.
I cranked out a 13.8 in the 110mHH (39”) and a 22.2 for the 200m. Not bad for over jumping half the hurdles after competing on (42”) hurdles this year.
Now back to regular scheduled programming of sweaty practices!!!
- 3 x 6 100m, 50m rep walk, 200m set break
- 3 x 10 jump squats, 135lbs
- 3 x 8 power cleans, 115lbs
- 3 x 8 snatches, 100lbs
- 3 x 10 bench press, 135lbs
- 3 x 10 seated hamstring curls, 80lbs
- abs/core workout
